I want to make a case for why we need God.
It’s quite simple.
When I see my son growing up, I had a deep realization that for men, they need someone who gives them an absolute, unchanging center. Someone who will always show what is right, who will be strict when they need it, and forgiving when they need a hug. Someone who, no matter what, will stay and love. I watch my toddler, tween and teen sons as they make their journey into manhood. They were meant to break boundaries to take on the impossible, explore, build, protect and provide. Life without God for a man is judgmental, harsh and unforgiving. God gives men a stable foundation that they can always return to. In the hardest times, God is a point of grace and inspiration. In the best of times, God is a point of humility and gratitude.
Men NEED God. He is the Alpha that keeps them motivated and humble at the same time.

As I raise my little princess, I realized, for women, need someone who will give them an absolute, unchanging source of unconditional love. Someone who reminds them, “You are beautiful,” “You are valuable,” “You are precious.” Women were created so beautifully, to nurture, create, protect, educate, and uplift. But life without God for a woman is full of self-doubt, insecurity, and a sense of unworthiness. God fills women with an unchanging source of worth, affirmation, and encouragement. In the hardest times, God reminds women that they are irreplaceable and precious. In the best of times, God reminds each woman that her value comes not just from her accomplishments, but her identity and uniqueness as His daughter.
Women NEED God. He is the ultimate source of value that keeps women inspired and gracious at the same time.
